“The passive lifestyle within Goa has got me calmer and relaxed from major stress towards getting infected with Coronavirus which was drastically foreseen in a city like Mumbai.”
Goa recently announced that they’re open to tourism starting July 2, and a lot of people were excited about it. Despite the fact that a pandemic still exists, people still can’t stop wanderlusting! And since Goa has fewer number of cases, why not head to the most popular beach destination, right? But, at your own risk!
Well, WhatsHot recently spoke to a traveler from Mumbai who has been in Goa and traveled to Goa during the lockdown phase to take some time off of work and to escape the Bombay madness.
Parthsarthi Singh works in a Public Relations firm in Mumbai and is also a founder of HOPE: Healing Our Planet Earth who shares his experience of travelling during the pandemic with WhatsHot.
He said, “This pandemic has left us in a dilemma across the globe, with an urge to move out of ruckus I made my decision to travel and detach from this uncertainty. Travel is no more restricted but is highly pre-cautioned. Every traveller is now subjected to do a swab test at the borders of Goa state after results which we were permitted to travel around Goa with guided SOPs.”
